Welcome to Little City - Cambridge; The original and award-winning roleplay experience for toddlers, designed for confident walkers up to the age of 5 (6 in the holidays).
Little City Cambridge is a fun, unique and enjoyable play experience that pops up at venues across Cambridge surrounding towns and villages. Little City has 10 beautifully designed areas where your little one can pretend to be a builder, hairdresser, vet, shopkeeper and much more!
Our backdrops are carefully thought out to enhance a child's development using the contrast of calming and attention-grabbing colours. There something for everyone to enjoy and it's the perfect excuse for grown ups to have a lovely experience in the wonderful world of pretend play with their little ones.
The beauty of our city is there's no termly sign up. Play is for 1 hour and sessions are pay as you go. Tickets cost on average £7.50, non-walking children attending with a sibling play for free as well as adults!
Refreshments are available to purchase you can grab a coffee for just £1.50 and can enjoy while your child is busy playing in the city. Little City – Cambridge pops up in Girton, Fordham, Sutton, Haddenham, Newmarket, Haverhill, Trumpington and Fen Drayton.
I'm Louise and I live in Newmarket with my husband Jim and our 3 children William, Nora and Iris we also have 2 cats Dash and bluebell. I first came across Little City when I took my youngest daughter to one of Kate's sessions at Little City - Suffolk and I fell in love. My daughter adored the session and I couldn't stop thinking I want to do that for a job!!
I did a little research in to franchises and then on my next visit I had a chat with Kate, who gave me Vicki's (the founder of Little City) contact details. An email was sent and the rest is history! I knew this was for me and couldn't wait to get the ball rolling. I wanted to be able to work, but on the schedule I decide, so I could pick the kids up from school, go to sports days etc...and just be present for them! Previous employment in care made that difficult as 12 hour days or split shifts meant me missing my children so after my third child I decided I didn't want to go back to care and got a little part time job in Tesco they were lovely and the job was easy but I just didn't love it! So discussions with my husband and family members began...and they backed me!
Things I love to do - Family time, swimming, walks, farms, zoo (Colchester zoo being my fav,) spending time with my girlfriends planning adventures, cackling about silly things and I love the beach and swimming in the sea!
Little City Online Shop!
The toys we buy for our cities are ones that we think not only look good, provide lots of wonderful play opportunities, but are also are built to last.
All the products available in the online shop are items that we've tried and tested: the kids love them, and we love them so much, we want you to be able to take them home (and we know they're durable as they get a LOT of play at our sessions!)
