Welcome to Little City, Leicester! Does your little one love playing pretend? If so, Little City Leicester is the place to be. Little City is an award-winning mobile role play experience for your little one to explore learning through play, imitating everyday jobs and lives. Whether they want to be a shopkeeper, firefighter, hairdresser, builder, take a twirl in fancy dress or whizz around on our ride-on vehicles there is something for everyone at Little City. We have lots of high-quality toys to help little imaginations run wild.
The miniature city is designed for pre-school children (up to age 6 in school holidays) the sessions are child led allowing children to choose where they want to explore. Each session is 1 hour 15 minutes and group sizes are limited to ensure children have the opportunity to explore every part of the city and it does not become overcrowded. Parents are free to release their inner child and explore the city too or stand back and enjoy seeing your little one immerse in their imagination with one of the refreshments on offer.
One of the best things about Little City is that it is fully mobile and can be set up almost anywhere. We have 10 stations for the children to explore plus an enhancement area that changes often to ensure those attending regularly never get bored. We will be offering multiple sessions across Leicester and Leicestershire on a pay as you go basis. All sessions can be booked online and if you book for 3 or more children you will automatically receive a discount.
Whilst Little City Leicester is the newest city we join a larger team who have won awards and have lots of raving reviews and we cannot wait to welcome you and your little one to Little City Leicester.
Little City Leicester will also be available for hire to schools, nurseries and pre-schools as well as birthday parties.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
SO MUCH FUN
We went to Little City today, we had fantastic friendly welcome and nothing was too much trouble plus the coffee is good too. My twins are 21 months and I was not sure whether to take them, I was very much wrong this was amazing for them, so much fun! While also adding to their fundamental imaginary and social skills. Can’t wait to visit again!
The equipment was wonderful- unlike other places I've been with similar interactive play shops where there's scraps of things for the children to handle and play with, here there were mountains of age-appropriate toys that were all really well-kept, useful and specific to each little area and 'job'.
We have just had an amazing session of Little City today . We are a group of parents with children with additional needs and finding somewhere we can go to to have fun in a safe and secure place can be difficult. The children had so much fun and were able to explore the role play at their own pace and with great success.

I'm Gema and I am the face behind Little City Leicester! I first discovered Little City when a friend sent me a link to the website asking if there was anything like Little City in Leicester! My reply no! From then on, I thought what a great idea and quickly became a Little City social media stalker. I loved the concept and look of Little City and knew Leicester needed something like it for all the little people.
I am usually a 'play it safe' kind of person but I believe there is a need for this type of role play experience in Leicester and I know that if there was a Little City in Leicester before my eldest son went to school he would of loved it and for me knowing Leicester has nothing like this to offer pre-school aged children I knew I had to give children in the area the opportunity to attend a Little City. After speaking with Vicki (founder of Little City) I was sold, and quickly started looking at the endless possibilities of role play toys.
I am a mum of two young boys aged 5 and nearly one (lockdown baby - poor child). I am completely outnumbered in a house full of football loving boys and 5 year old who sometimes thinks he's a dog!
As life slowly starts to get back to some normality or a new normal I am so excited to Launch Little City Leicester and meet lots of lovely new people.
