Re Opening April 2021
After the UK Government announcements on Monday 22nd February, we are planning to reopen our events from 12th April 2021.
We're now working with all our venues to get dates scheduled ASAP.
All tickets pre-booked for January and February will be honoured. Ticket holders will be emailed with a priority booking code to rebook onto any date in the next 12 months. We will email anyone who had tickets - please bear with us and we'll be in touch.
We can't wait to see you all - please see our social media pages for more regular updates and information!
Throughout lockdown we are offering home-hire of some of our toys and equipment. We're offering this service in the following areas; if you would like to hire some toys for a special birthday or just to boredom-bust at home, please get in touch! All our toys are sanitised and cleaned thoroughly in between hires, we offer distanced drop off and pick up and all payments are made online. 48 hours hire of our toys is a sure fire way to earn yourself a hot cup of tea!

Welcome to Little City! We are an entirely mobile role play City for the under 5’s to explore, discover and enjoy. Utilising our bespoke backdrops and specially selected high-quality toys and equipment, your child can fully immerse themselves in their own world.
Our children are our biggest observers: they have watched us as adults go to the supermarket, post letters in the Post Office and style our hair. At Little City they can ‘be’ grown ups: where nothing is off limits, they can be the hairdresser, the mechanic, the builder, the café owner and much, much more.
At Little City we aim
To provide an inclusive pretend-play experience for all parents, carers and children under 5, open to the entire community.
To enable children to explore role play in their way, with no boundaries or limitations irrespective of gender, race, culture or ability.
To offer an open, safe and inviting environment in which all customers feel confident and valued.
The idea of Little City was just a seed in the summer of 2017 when I walked to my very comfortable office job in Central London. I loved my job, but hated my commute and time away from my two girls. Little City was an idea my husband and I discussed over our kitchen table and it is there that we started building what was to become far bigger than I have ever expected!
We opened Little City in October 2017 with wooden backdrops, a very rusty van and zero experience… fast forward to now and, we’ve grown ten-fold over the past two years with the growth of our franchise family and I couldn’t be prouder. Please see their individual pages for more information on them and their areas.
The little world that comes to you….
Little City is just that, a Little City for your children. We set our City up in village halls, community centres and church halls. The beauty of us being mobile is that we can reach those parents who may not travel and help you avoid inner-town traffic and parking. We can also travel into schools and nurseries and we LOVE being part of your special party or event!
Our registered-design City is built within an hour and we welcome children to our PAYG weekday sessions via our team booking pages. We offer hot drinks and snacks to all or customers whilst they play. All our team members are DBS checked, Paediatric First Aid trained and fully insured.
Our weekday PAYG events are booked in advance, the price is per child playing: non-walkers and adults are free! We welcome children up to age 6 during the school holidays. Every play session is 1hr 15 minutes – we found that 1hour is too short and 90 minutes is too long for some little ones so we’ve gone with a happy compromise! During that time, the play is entirely child-led and you’ll notice we purposely don’t set out chairs or tables for adults to sit at – we want to and actively encourage you to get involved too!
It’s not often we get time to just play: there’s always a job to do at home or a phone call to make, but at Little City the emphasis is on playing with your little ones and discovering what their favourite area is (I haven’t yet met a child who doesn’t like trying the wooden food by the way!)
